Embracing Entrepreneurial Thinking Everywhere with Forward Fest

The word “innovate” is tossed around in business conversations to the point that it’s reached buzzword status. But what does it actually mean to innovate? For a group of Wisconsin manufacturers, it’s about challenging the status quo and leveraging entrepreneurial thinking every day. To dive deeper into this topic, I’ll be co-hosting “Entrepreneurial Thinking In Manufacturing,” a panel discussion at this year’s Forward Fest in Madison, Wisconsin.

While it’s tempting to think of innovation in manufacturing only in terms of automation or robotics, we’ll also be discussing how these manufacturers are harnessing entrepreneurial thinking in things like attracting and retaining talent and fostering diversity in the workforce.

If you’ll be in the Madison area on Thursday, August 18, I’d love to have you join us! We’ll be touring the Advanced Manufacturing Lab at Madison Area Technical College before the panel discussion and enjoying happy hour at a local brewery after.
